Dynamic response of tunnel through water-rich liquefiable layer based on UBC3D-PLM model

This study investigates the dynamic response of tunnels crossing liquefiable layers, with a focus on Chongming Line Project Shanghai Rail Transit. Through numerical analysis using Plaxis2D geotechnical simulation software, shows that UBC3D-PLM constitutive model effectively simulates pore pressure in layers. Furthermore, finds drainage pile reinforcement both sides tunnel limits liquefaction soil under load. The rate EPR accumulation accelerates and time to reach peak ratio shortens increasing load intensity. However, growth pattern layers remains same after intensity reaches certain threshold.
